Alec Martinez injury update: Los Angeles Kings defenseman undergoes wrist surgery
The Los Angeles Kings announced on Tuesday that defenseman Alec Martinez underwent successful surgery to repair a radial artery and two superficial radial nerves on his right wrist. In the third period of Monday’s 4-3 overtime loss against the San Jose Sharks, Martinez sustained a laceration to his wrist and was taken to Keck Medicine of USC.
